Can I get a wireless remote to start and stop the generator?

A smart relay would be able to turn a typical Onan RV generator on / off.
That smart relay is able to be controlled in many ways - like via a smartphone.

Are you looking to start the generator from within the RV, or just outside, or from anywhere on the internet? Certainly if the latter, the RV system would have to be connected to the Internet (Wifi or Cellular).

Just from outside the RV. Kind of like the keyless fob you get with a new car.

Couldn't you just walk over to the generator and start it with the switches there since you're already outside?
My '02 DSDP didn't even have auto gen start, let alone an outside remote.

My Canyon Star is the Model 3911. It is equipped with a wheelchair lift. It is hard for me to open the bay door then open the genny, use the switch and then when I go inside the RV via the lift those things are left open. I'm just trying to be a bit more independent.

Hey there. I build custom generator controllers. Shoot me a private message if you don't find anything suitable. This wouldn't be too hard to build.

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to run a wired switch over to your entry door or near the lift you need to operate?
