I did not order the safe after reading how easy they can be broken into. A benefit of not ordering the safe is you get two more adjustable shelves.

If I DID have a safe in my coach, it wouldn't be a manufactured installed one. Probably be better to find some out of the way place or put in a false back in a cupboard or something.

Got the split storage trays approved from Newmar. They are installing both trays for $1,200. A large tray that opens up to the passenger side, and a smaller tray on the driver side. Single tray problem is cannot stack opposite side higher than the rail.

Great job on the split tray. Do you know the size of the trays? Did you get any other trays?

Did you get the split storage trays as a "special?" I e-mailed Michelle Howard today, attempting to change a dual-side single tray to a split tray setup in our MADP 4047 and was told "Our large storage trays will not fit back to back."

These are the only 2 we wanted - want to see how they perform. Can add more if needed, like one would add under kitchen sink?

Yes, as special. May be unique to 43' model size?

After seeing the split trays under the sink in the 2017 Dutch Star that were standard (only for one year-2017) we opted for one large sliding tray. Just felt there was too much usable space lost to the width of the wood sides & the gap in between the trays. The single slide out works better for us.
In the rear closet, I had the lights moved forward so as not to be blocked by hanging items & I opted to put 2 extra lights in off to either side.
If you are getting recliners, have the done WITHOUT the swivel rocker & make them electric. We took our standard recliners back to Lambright Comfort Chair (manufacturer) & had the swivel rocker base removed & replaced with a free standing solid electric base.

No Dust Strom problem with the Spartan. That was a FL issue.

Looks to me that you ordered good options. A couple of things we got on ours was an extra 12 volt outlet on left side of steering wheel, and our dealer suggested polishing all the countertops. Was not that expensive and well worth it!

That may well be it. I'm pretty sure Michelle would have told me it could be ordered as a "special" rather than as an "option." I do believe one of the dfferences in the MADP 4047 vs other 43' or 45' coaches is the width of the pass-through compartment.
I will wait until I have the coach in hand and can evaluate the dual-side tray. If it is feasible to split it and gain some useable space, I will proceed; if not, I'll learn to live with the limitations.
Thanks, all, for your comments, thoughts and suggestions.

You made the most important choice and that was the Spartan chassis. After being a FL chassis owner it will be interesting to hear your comparison. We order the King Aire flooring which is available on DS and it's not that much up charge.
