Ordered new Dutch Star 4369

Ordered a new Dutch Star 4369 and would like to read the owners manual. I've seen in the past where 007 posts a link to Newmar where I believe you can download it but I can't remember the name of the link. Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

Hi Phil, it looks like a great coach. We have recently ordered our 4369 and outfitted it with the vast majority of options you have listed. We did choose an exterior paint scheme from a Mountain Aire as well as a MA countertop and door/drawer handles. Since we are doing the combo buffet/dinette we ordered it with the chairs from the MA.

The only thing I added that I didn't see on your list was a second 12v outlet on the far left side of the dash for my TPMS system. In addition to the extra under cabinet light to the left of the microwave, I put one behind it. I will be picking up an extra 2-channel remote for the MCD power shades. They are only $35 and the one in the bedroom that controls the three windows there is a fixed mount under the cabinets above the bed and not portable. I don't want to have to lay on the bed to adjust shades during the daytime.

We had a central vac in our Ventana and found it really wasn't much easier than a broom and dustpan so we passed on the DSDP.

We can't wait until ours arrives in May, I'm sure you feel the same.

Yeah....had a senior moment! Either that or Newmar is selling so many coaches it's getting hard to keep track!

Jim, thanks for the great tips! We will add the 12v outlet and the second light over the counter.

That's an excellent point about the remote for the bedroom shades. It never occurred to me the only way to operate them was from underneath the cabinet.

Barbara just asked if Newmar will install a rooftop cellular phone antenna on the roof so we easily can add a range extender. Have you, or anyone else, heard of Newmar doing this?

X2, can't wait to get it! It's going to be a long wait.

A cellular antenna on the roof is a great idea, however I doubt Newmar would do it unless you provided the parts ahead of time and specified where you wanted the wire terminated inside the coach. Even then, them may be reluctant. We use AT&T and have not had any real difficulty getting a decent enough signal for at least a phone call. Streaming video from the iPad is sometimes a different story.

Lisa,

Congratulations on your 4369, we obviously think you made an excellent choice. We totally understand your "relief", we've been thinking about what/when to buy for a couple of years. When we went to the shows, we always ended up back in the DS 4369.

I'm curious, did you get the dual recliners?

We didn't get the recliners. We kept the Hide a bed and added the Jack knife sofa. We are content with the driver and passenger seats since they turn around.

We've been only looking for less than a year. We fell in love with the 4369 at the Hershey show in September and confirmed it at the Tampa show. Originally, we weren't looking for anything bigger than a 40ft. Once we saw the 4369, I knew my husband was sold. He test drove a 4374 and was comfortable with the drive. The floor plan is perfect.

This is our first coach. DH is months away from retirement and we are looking forward to seeing the country.

Lisa
