Ordering our 2016 Dutch Star 4369!
We have put in our order for a 2016 DS! Our customs include exterior paint changes, credenza/fireplace in place of passenger side sofa, medicine cabinet in rear vanity, AGM batteries, and a few other mods. We are going with Cordova interior and sable maple cabinetry which looks fantastic together....looked at a DS at the factory with this combination and it looked fantastic. Will also do factory delivery....hard part is the waiting!

I ordered a teenburger, fries and regular root beer, got in in seconds and loved it.

This was a long process....we put our house on the market last October, closed in June, and ordered. We had lived in our home for 23 years and it was very hard to leave. My husband designed our house, the built a studio to match....all on his own:

It will be interesting to see if what we gave up is worth it! Now to change our sig.

Congrats on your new DS order. I think you will love it and factory delivery is the way to go - at least once. If you can, take a few days and watch them do the build. We thought it was time well spent. We are almost there as we take delivery of our Ventana in about eight weeks, but we still have to sell the house. That will be next Spring - hopefully.
Normally I don't like modern design homes, but yours is very well done and looks inviting. The video is very well done too. Congrats on the sale and I think the new DS will help make new memories as good as the old.
Safe Travels

Nice home.... I think I would have kept the home and bought a weekender class b or something. The land your home is on is better than 90% of the RV parks out there.

There's nothing we would have liked more than to keep this house and our studio, and we considered it. This home is on a private street in a subdivision and the RV cannot be parked or kept there. We didn't feel comfortable storing it away from our property. We plan to travel full time for a few years, then possibly build again in a new location.
Thank you for your kind comments!

Congrats, Slydog. Looking forward to seeing your custom paint job! :-)
As for your house, it's so peaceful looking. Very zen-like! I can imagine how you must feel to part ways after 23 years. I'm actually looking to sell my house (after 14 years) so that I can buy another house with an RV garage. As I drive around my beautiful neighborhood, as I walk my dogs in the park across the street, and as I continue to live in my house until I finally make that decision, I'm getting sad to part ways.
