Dollar store items, two tennis ball dog toys, and a pack of smaller ones, some nylon cord, a nail to heat up, held by pliers, to make the hole all the way thrugh and this is what you get. While its true that you will only walk into the mirrors once, having almost done it a second time, this seemed like the best solution.

Finally changed out the Lead Acid to AGMs. Suprised it only took a half day although did not change out the chassis batteries as they are sealed and in good shape.

Old rear Salon 32" TV with 5" depth(required removal when bringing in slides)-

Empty front frame-used metal angle iron built out with 2X4" wood and homemade wood mount. Mounted TV from rear by removing the metal screen.

New 32" LCD in front Salon(was in rear Salon)-will be adding wood strip above TV tomorrow(using old frame).

Thanks guys, Gary-no did not have to reinforce wall as the rear LED/LCD tv only weighed 13 lbs.(did have to put stroyfoam-spelling-behind it to eliminate movement, since we only used a small wall mount).

Here is final picture of front Salon TV-used velcro to mount wood strip above TV which provides easy access to rear metal screen for removal if it which provides easy access to rear of TV-phew!


No new coach planned for us unless they start making the Mid-Engine again-would not be without the garage/2nd bedroom.

Forgot to post this mod last summer. It is an ATV stacker which works with an elctric motor to stack your ATVs either in your toyhauler or garage, etc. When the ATVs are out the platform will work as two full size beds using air mattresses, etc. The ATVs are Yamaha 550s, the stacker will fit all ATVs except the double up or side-by-side UTVs. We helped a friend design it and he got a patient and is selling them here-

Just finished installing new kitchen faucets. Pullout sprayer, soap dispenser and right side control. Forgot to take picture of old facuet.

I needed to replace the radio in my 1994 Kountry Aire. Since the plastic panel was cracked, and wouldn't fit the new radio anyway, I replaced it with a wooden panel.

I found the wood at Menards in the cabinet section. It is a piece used to finish the ends of base cabinets. I had a friend cut the holes and stained it to match my woodwork. I think it adds a lot to the looks of the dash.

I recently installed this product from Camco. It is a plastic roof vent cover. On the cover are 2 solar panels. Under the cover and at the top of the cut out for the refer roof vent are two fans. Go to Camco Solar Pannel (2) Roof Vent Refer Fans - iRV2.com RV Photo Gallery and see the install.

Notice the solar panels have an aluminum frame and 4 hold down screws per panel. If you purchase, make sure this is the level of product you buy. The old (original) product the solar panels were all glass (no aluminum frame) and had 6 hold down screws per panel. In this case more screws is not better. The additional screws flexed the panel and shortened its' life.

The install is straight forward and quite easy.

The original 360 Siphon vent tops (the ones that turned into the wind like a weather vane) wore out. I installed the company's new design. Go to 360 Siphon Roof Vent - iRV2.com RV Photo Gallery to see one of the vents. This product has no moving parts.

The install was a bit more than I anticipated. It took quite a while to get the old 360 Siphon off, the vent stack cut to the proper length and the old caulk cleaned from the roof. Once complete, I placed caulk and then EternaBond around the vent. Then I installed the vent cap and caulked around the outside lip and over the 5 hold down screws. It took about 3 hours for 2 vents. This was mainly due to me being very careful completing the various tasks.

About 6 months ago a new chassis batteries 5 WATT solar panel was installed, by Newmar factory techs. I guess technology improvements can keep the output the same while making the panel smaller. Go to Chassis Batteries 5 Watt Solar Panel Side View - iRV2.com RV Photo Gallery to see another change. The original panel sat flat on the roof. The new panel is not only smaller, but sits above the roof by about 1 inch.
