I visited the RVIA show and New Aire yesterday since I live 9 miles away. The crowd was small and temperature cooler. It is very impressive looking and comfortable inside. The dinette seats are firm, comfortable and deep enough that there is leg support with room for a 6'2" 255 lb old man's knees and feet. Others could sit there without fierce combat for space for knees and feet if up to 4 were sitting there. Also, the table edge to seat back space was just right, not tight at all.

The shower space was good and much better than the 36" corner shower in the rear of the MADP 4047 next to the New Aire. I liked the 40' MADP but the tiny 36" corner shower would kill any deal for it. The 2016-17 DSDP 4041 had the same tiny 36" shower problem that killed my interest in both of them. I hope the 2019 MADP gives a 50x42" or 42x42" shower option in the mid-coach for the 40' MADP.

After being asked what I was buying, I informed him that after doing research and consulting in Nappanee with Michell regarding specials and color, fabric, etc choices, I would send requests for bids out to 6 to 12 dealers. I got a sour face from the salesman who said "Oh, you are one of those people". I saw "Don't enter without salesman" signs on all the Newmars and I would just ignore them and go in and look around as most other lookers did too.

I suspect the dealership wants a bidding war because I overheard someone being told it was still available if they wanted it. They had an interesting tag in the New Aire that showed they were hoping for a get rich quick sale on the 3341.

My mistake the red tag was in another Newmar but I think it was a DSDP 4002 maybe. I took pictures of several coaches and the New Aire furniture was very dark. It does not look like a 30% off show price for the coach.

The Newmar dealer at the RV show in Pomona is Holland. In the picture above you see a price sheet that is created by Holland. It isn't the price sheet from Newmar. I have seen errors in Hollands sheets, items duplicated, or not part of the actual Newmar itemized prices. So take caution and double check it.

Make sure to send a bid to Tom Lindstrom. We ordered a New Aire FPU from him at very close to what we've heard is the max discount which is 30%.

Good point--you need to make sure you're looking at Newmar MSRP, not the dealership MSRP which could be different. Newmar build sheets also include options prices.

Finally got my New Aire.

It is nicely tucked into my hangar. Tight fit but it works.

Almost perfect delivery until we discovered the dash AC is not working. Drove it home in 95F temperatures with generator running using coach AC. Worked fine.

Now I get to visit a FreightLiner Service Center.

Now that is a great place for your New Aire to hang out.

TurboPilot - Congrats!

Beautiful rig - we purchased the same exterior color, Moonbeam.

Don't keep us in suspense, how did it go up Grapevine (tow vehicle?).

I think the newer Cummins 6.7 ISB have no break in period but maybe you were looking to get your baby home safely versus setting a speed record in tow mode.

Reading through the websites, it appears the Freightliner Service centers are - just 'ok' with an exceptional one here and there. Some reviews say that the FCCC RV Service centers are different than the standard truck service center but when I looked through the FCCC website for service centers in my area, they were for both (https://www.fcccrv.com/parts-and-service/)

aeroquality, you set so correct. Holland's home made MSRP price sheet includes a fake $3,500 Freight & Dealer Prep charge as an extra profit pack. It smells like "used car salesman ethics & morality" is SOP for Calif; Lindstrom is the exception.
