Talking Out with the NEW and in with the OLD

Batteries, that is.

Took out the flooded GC batteries from our new Ventana.

Replaced with with the 2 year old Lifelines we saved from our previous coach before trading. Increased our capacity from ~400 AH to 600, and no watering.

As you might suspect, we do a lot of boondocking. Next task I'll have to source some solar panels and a controller (those went with the trade).

Sorry for the sideways image, both those batteries were upright before uploading.

Thanks for the thread Finance, did the same, AGM'S in mine on the KS3740, BEST move ever made, clean battery tray and no problems traveling from point to point during winter months, sure surprised me.

I wish our's would have come with AGM batteries. Not looking forward to replacing 8 of them now. I'll wait till these are ready to give up.
