Outside Bose soundbar not working with dash radio

2017 VLDP 4037.
Sony WX-900BT dash radio.
Bose Solo 5 soundbar
Bose selector switch...TV-OFF-DASH RADIO
All Newmar installs

I have been able to connect the outside TV audio to play through the sound bar with relative ease. Simply turn on the soundbar and TV, then throw the switch to TV. Easy peasy.

I’ve even connected the soundbar to mobile devices via Bluetooth also quite easy.

BUT

With soundbar on, the selector switch to dash radio, the dash radio playing, I get nothing through the soundbar.

Have read manuals to no resolution. Any hints on connecting dash radio to outside soundbar? Dash radio need some special output setting?

Do you have power to the soundbar? Mine has come unplugged once.

Old topic, known issue. Do a search. Only works if fader put to all rear, and even then not great. Needs an amplifier to work.

We’ve just had a bunch of discussions this topic. Best to look for my posts, which will help you find all the threads. There’s at least 3 recently.

One note is to make sure you haven’t streamed bluetooth to the bar and then try to get switched to the AUX Input....there’s a delay and you’ll not hear anything until the bar changes inputs.
