My outside light lens (2.25"X5")at the door has been broken. It is from Liteco Industires Inc and had cat#Y193 on the light. I ordered a new cover from Newmar (Part#00361). It arrived only to find out it was not the correct one. A call to Newmar and I was told there is only one light ever used and that had to be the correct lens. A call to Liteco, but could not speak to anyone and only got to leave messages and no one has returned my call. It is very very close to being the correct lens, but the new one has a lip on top and bottom that hold the edge out away from the light frame. This would allow water to enter the light. Other that that, it fits perfectly. Any one out there have any suggestions??
Thanks

Hi Driver
This is a fabulous thought, but unfortunately my light goes the opposite way and is recessed into the wall, so this light would not cover properly and the motion sensors are on the ends.
I will try again next week to call the manufacture and get to the bottom of this.

Thanks for your suggestion, it is a great idea.

I needed to replace the door lighting fixture in my 97 K/A 5er and found that the fixture was not available. Problem exsisted in that the fixture was inletted into the outside wall paralell to the side of the door so the normal replacement fixture would not cover the hole. Used a LED yellow combination tail.turn.brake fixture from peterson manufacturing (PM) which covered the cut out nicely and wired all functions together. While it does not shine the light downward as would a normal fixture, it does produce more than sufficent lighting to make up for that fault and at a lower electrical draw.
