Just thought I'd let everyone know Newmar came through in an outstanding manner. Four days into an 8 week trip with the grand kids, the front roof A/C compressor would not come on. Dealers and CW's along our route were booked and could not take us for service. I had this problem added to my Rally service request. At the rally Dometic took a look at the A/C and said I needed a new starter kit. This is good news because I have replaced these, on previous coaches, and know it is basically an unplug and plug type replacement. However, Dometic gave me the hubba bubba about getting the parts. I went to Newmar service and talked to Ron Weaver. I asked for his help. Within two hours, of my conversation, Newmar techs called my cell phone and said they were at my coach and ready to fix the A/C. 20 minutes later the A/C was working.

Kuddos to Newmar and 20 lashes with a wet noodle to Dometic.

Gary, I don't now many Newmar International Rallies you have attended but speaking from experience(we have attended 11 Internationals) that's what you come to expect from Ron Weaver and his dedicated technicians and Newmar Corporation. Ed.S

Hi! Sounds like the same great service we got when we were at the factory. Paul

We only had a minor issue fixed with ours. Had one major issue that they told us that we would have to go back to factory with. I was expecting that.

I talked with many folks during the rally that had service done, and all had high praise for Newmar service techs.

After last year's debacle in Essex Junction regarding the use of just one computer to sign up service customers, I learned this year that Newmar made arrangements to have FOUR service check-in lines with computers and the long waiting lines I am told were not in existence.
