I just completed a service appointment at North Trail RV. Ya'll know I bought and have my coach serviced there. My experience has been above average to outstanding service. This time was something to remember. Remember I have an 05 KSDP. This is a standard line coach at the opposite end of the price range from Bob's Bus. The place was backed up, as usual. Coaches were everywhere. I have seven items on the list (all known by NT in advance).

My service order paperwork was already completed before I arrived.

Within 1 hour two techs were working on my coach.

Nate and Tim had never worked on my coach before so we had some introductions and they went to work.

All seven items were completed by 3 PM! For one item a part is on order. No need to return the coach, I just need to come over, at my convenience and swap the bad for the good part.

Both Tim and Nate were very friendly and explained what they were going to do before they did it. I was able to shorten their time a bit by communicating the testing I had completed before arriving.

Both techs were very thorough and did a few extra little things.

Each fix was thoroughly tested before they declared job done. When I tested their work, their repairs were on the money and everything worked as advertised.[/list]None of us likes taking our coach in for service (except for Dirk who enjoys the free nights of camping), but if service is what we need, this is how it should be done.

Gary, as you know I arrived at North Trail for my early morning appointment and met with the high line service writer, a gentleman named Rob Sanders. We went over the two issues I had reported and then Terry got to work on the coach...Since I was done around 3 or so, I decided to go ahead and head over to Jupiter, even passed the turn to GaryKD's house along the way.
I want to add something here....When I was in the "shopping" mode for the Essex, I heard some chatter about North Trail's service department and I must say they do a WONDERFUL job...
Sure they work on a lot of coaches, but as I walked around the lot and went in and out of the customer lounge area it sure seemed everyone was happy with the way they were being treated...

Good to hear your service went well. I have all my service work done at Larry's Trailer Sales in Zeigler, IL ( bought KSDAP Coach there). They provide excellent service and are honest and dependable. Quentin is the Service Manager and goes above and beyond to help keep it all together done the road...if you are traveling the Southern IL area and need help fast they just 12 miles West off I-57 @ the #65 West Frankfort exit . You will not be disappointed.
