When I owned a Newmar, they would send paint problems to Precision Painting in nearby Bremen. They did outstanding work and all of Travel Supreme's paint work. Now that TS is out of business, is Nemwar using Precision for their upscale coaches?

No.

Newmar paints at the factory.

They were leasing the old Precision Paint building in Breman and Newmar employees were painting overflow work there.

Now that things have slowed down so much, I understand that they are closing the leased building and doing all painting at the factory.

Good question Mike. I know they did great work for TS and also I know people that have had trailer and stuff painted. Excellent work. Newmar's paint shop was also top shelf But, maybe after the layoff, it may be cheaper to go that route, with fix costs and all.
Perhap another member has more information on this.

When I left camp Newmar earlier this month, all painting was being done at the factory.

I spoke with Phil several weeks ago about repainting our motorhome. They are only painting new units and damage repairs. They are sending folks to Precision Painting if you want your unit repainted. Two of my friends had their motorhomes painted by Mike's Custom Painting and they did a great job.

We are putting the finishing touches on a design and colors and will have our painted the starting the end of September. We will be at Camp Newmar to have a few things repaired prior to painting.

Hi! And they still do outstanding work! Newmar is doing all their own work. The Essex and King Aire, get one more step then the others. They get sanded and buffed after they are painted. Paul

Re: Painting

There is another company in Nacogdoches, Texas. that does excellent work, upgrades, and graphics. They are Xtreme Paint & Graphics, James & Jennifer, 936-560-5888. You can go on line a xtremegraphics.com, and see before and after; and in process. We had our tow truck, painted with the graphics, to match our MAD. These are good people, to deal with.
