Again, why can't I have a normal problem? I have a passenger seat in our 2006 Dutch Star that likes to pick the times it wants to work. My kids used the RV a while back and turned the seat the wrong way pulling the plug apart. I fixed the connections but the seat now has a mind of it's own. My wife put the leg rest up on a recent trip and the seat quit working before we could put the leg rest back down. I checked and had voltage in and out of the plug. I removed the seat control cover and I had voltage at the wires coming to it from the plug. But nothing on the seat would work. A day later the seat worked fine and I didn't do anything to it. Sometimes it won't work and a half hour later it will work fine without kicking, banging, turning or disturbing any part of it. I just walk up, push a button or move a rocker switch and it will work fine. I do the same thing an hour later and it gives me the thumbs down routine. The driver side seat never has a problem. Anyone have any words of wisdom for this one?

Barry

Barry its a simple problem for everyone the wiring plug has a loose battery or ground lead in one of the plugs that you pull apart.
The wire falls out of the spring crimp.
If you have enough slack tie the plug to seat x-bar so your just moving the wire and not the plug also.
May be slack in compartment below.
