Passenger Seat Foot Rest 2017DSDP Spartan

Good Morning,

My passenger seat foot rest stopped working. Other functions on the chair are working, ie - the heat. This is a 2017 DSDP 4369 Spartan. Does anyone know where I can find the fuse for the passenger seat foot rest, to check it? - or what manual, or link I could use to research further?

the fuses for the seats are in the outside storage compartment that is under the drivers seat....

but it could also be the 12V electrical connections under the seat..

had a friends ventana unit have issues with a wire nut coming lose....so look under the seat for hanging , un attached wires...

Plus one on this, you wouldn't think they would run multiple power circuits to the same chair. I'd look under the seat, wiggle wires

Mine quit working. My fuses were all ok, no tangled wires, etc. it turned out that the safety microswitch that (that is installed to prohibit footrest deployment while in the driving position) was "tweaked". I had to order another switch. The switch is under the chair on the left side (in driving position).

While at the CPU in June the co-pilot seat blew the fuse Day 2. Our Tech installed auto-reset type fuses (mini circuit breakers) in the 12 volt panel in the first bay on the pilot's side. No issues since. They are the two 25 Amp "fuses" in the upper right corner to the left of the large silver nut. John.

We had the same problem. 25amp fuses were installed for both footrests but paperwork shows 30amp fuses. We changed ours out to the 30amp and haven't had a problem since. Neither Spartan or Newmar could explain the discrepancy between the paperwork and what was factory installed. They suggested trying the 30amp which I did and all is good now.
