The dw just called to inform me my headlights were on. She went out to verify the switch wasn't on. After putzing around with headlight switch for a few minutes, she said they finally went off. She did say the headlights themselves seemed to look a little dim when they were on. And yes, we did have a heck of a rainstorm last night. Has any of you fine folks experienced this concern before?
Thanks in advance.
Keith

I would look at your fuse panels to see if water has leaked on them in compartment under drivers seat or rear compartments. Should be a sealent above compartments at floor level.
If not water can get into compartments.

I apologise ahead of time for this question, but here goes: Were they just the daytime running lights that are SUPPOSED to be on?

Ken,
I asked my wife the same question. She said all front lights were on, fogs included but she didn't remember about side marker and tails. Then a buddy of mine, who had driven by, called and asked why my tails were on. So, I am of the opinion that it was more than just drl's on.

I don't think the DRL are supposed to be on while parked.

Plus, the drl's should only be on when park brake is off. There was no key in ignition and air brakes are on.

And I find that my DRL's only come on when the transmission is in gear.
