Congrats!!! I’ve had my BSS 2903 for almost a year and LOVE it!! It’s my first RV if any sort. Super minor warranty tweaks that’s it. Enjoy!!

Not to hijack your thread but has any BSS owners changed out the sofa for a sleeper sofa. Have found the sofa too small for more than one person. TY

Congrats. We have a 2017 BSS 3013 that we took delivery of last May. Left for New England on May 7 and returned home to FL in October. We are very pleased with the MH.

We have been looking to change out the sofa to recliners or Euro chairs. The Thomas Payne theater seating will fit but we are not sure of the chairs. We had Euro chairs in our last MH and loved them. Check out the Thomas Payne collection.

The only disappointment, which we did not realize and never asked, is that the hot water is propane only. We have had 5 new MH in the last 7 years and they all had electric/propane water heating systems.

Just a heads up, you may want to silicone caulk those baggage door seams and handles. Otherwise you'll get dripped on when accessing the compartments after any rain. Also prevents the possibility of any delamination.

Another BayStar owner had done it and we saw theirs and we have also done it:
The white (interior) door always seems to stand out. There is nothing else white, except the ceiling. Take some contact paper and cover over it. We used black. The door won't stand out like a sore thumb when you take pictures.

The Newmar dealer in Manteca CA is about 340 miles from Oxnard. If that’s where you bought, we got our Newmar there too last April. In fact it’s there for service right not. They’ve had some service staff changes and I’m hoping it’s for the better. Their only Newmar technician, Tyson, is great. In any case, congratulations on the new BSS

The baggage doors are aluminum. No worries of delamination there. Caulking the seams still sounds like a good idea.

LOL, I never would have noticed that if you hadn't pointed it out. I may do something about it at some point.

Thanks, yep, that's where we got it. I knew when we bought it that I would likely be taking care of minor issues myself, due to their distance from us. Fortunately I do have some plumbing/electrical/mechanical skills, and I enjoy that sort of thing. We'll see what Newmar wants me to do if I have anything major of a warrantee nature.
