I recentley purchased a 32ft American Star 5th Wheel. 32RK with two slides. Can anyone give me the approximate Pin Weight of this unit? Or of your unit if it is simialar length with two slides? Thanks for your help. Gregg

Any brochure weight will be the useless dry weight. Your best bet is to weight the rig and calculate it from that.

As an estimate use 20% of the trailer GVWR...tag found on the front left corner of the trailer.

Gregg -

I did a quick search on the internet and found some info on a 32' RLKS American Star that was reported to weigh 11,900# dry. I don't know what year that model was, nor any attachments, etc. that might have added weight.

In any case, it sounds to me like you'd be in the 1 ton pickup range to tow it.
