I don't know what the trip tech is, so don't know if I have it or not...LOL I assume it is all of the engine monitoring type stuff in digital? And I don't know where it would be displayed. I know my Avic has another box mounted under the dash besides the radio head unit, but I am not exactly sure what that is. if I knew for certain what RCA cables were a part of the camera I would get a different monitor and hook it up that way. There are ALOT of RCA cables under the dash going to the Avic unit.Wish I knew a radio/camera guru that lived close...I would trade him knowledge I have in many other areas for knowledge he has in this type of stuff...LOL

I have an AVIC-N1 plus the N2 unit in my 2005 Mtn Air 4304. Need to pull it out and have it serviced. It will not read any GPS disks ("read error") they are old and scratched, plus the unit will not eject the disks. Now I know the GPS disks were discontinued years ago and there are no current GPS disks available. But I need it to read any GPS disk so I can get my rear camera working while I'm driving down the road. Professional analysis has stated that the read head etc. needs to be cleaned and the eject mechanism needs to be serviced. The SRC button on the detachable face plate does not work. I want to get my/or used AVIC-N1 working without current GPS. Has anybody pulled out their AVIC-N1 & N2 and would like to get rid of it? I do not want to go to another unit that is not a Pioneer AVIC-N1 & N2, a reconditioned one will do just fine. plus if I don't want to change brands and models then what I do will be plug and play.
