I have a new to me 2003 Dutch Star 3802. I has a pocket door between the Bath and bedroom. The problem is the door will not stay stowed. I can not see how it is held in the stowed position. So does any one know how it is held and how to remedy the problem. I would settle on knowing how to remove the door and I think I coould then figure out how to fix it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Bill

On my Safari, it has a plastic strap with female side of a snap on one side of the door and it pulls around to the other side of the door and snaps onto the male side of the snap. The strap holds it in place. You can get it here

Most doors are held in pocket by a velcro strip inside end of door on Newmars. Most questions have been door hard to open from pocket.
If you push door all the way in tight will it hold?
Have not had a door off track to check inside velcro maybe someone has. The locking latch has curved pin on track that has to be released to get door off track.

Mine's got a latch at the bottom that has to be thrown.

Same here, pocket door is HARD to open because of the velcro. When you pull on it you can hear the velcro grudgenly letting go.

Most are vinyl or Velcro straps. Our old trailer has the spring loaded barrel latches on th epocket door and are still working after 31 years.
