Ok. Iíll bite. Aero wash wax all with pole handle microfiber cloth.

If itís dirty, car wash soap (soft brush; against Newmarís advice), and dry with aero on a towel.

Baby shampoo, lambs wool, ro water to rinse, spot free.
If the park offers, will use their service after I see what they use to clean with.

I used Dry Wash N Guard (DWG) for many years on our '02 DSDP, still using it on the present CC.
I recently tried some of the other stuff like McKees 37 and Aero Wask. Now back to DWG to get the water spots off.

That was my approach on my last one!!

The reason I opted for a poll, is because while I know there have been many discussions on lamb vs micro, waterless vs traditional, but I think for many of us, there is no real sense of what most people are doing.

Early returns are showing traditional with lambswool per Newmar instructions.

Where is the "Pay someone else to do it" option?

Newmar has guidance which you'll get if you haven't read it already somewhere.

I do like wash-n-wax all but that requires labor which I'm short of. My chronic arthritis kicks in when it's time to wash or wax something.

I use the chemical guys microfiber mop on a pole and DI Rinse (that stuff is amazing), if I'm not at home where the DI Rinse is then I use the Chemical Guys Water Blade (giant squeegee on a pole). I use the chemical guys foam cannon with their pink stuff cleaner...

I had rejex applied last January, not sure that it lasted, it may have been applied too thin (not done by me). I'm going to try it again at the end of this trip and reassess.

Do you find a traditional wash less labor intensive than wash wax all?

Do you find most people you pay are careful on how they wash to avoid scratches and such?

That is the biggest issue I have with pay for service.

I have onboard SpotFree and power washer. Lambs wool & Johnson no more tears baby shampoo (original gold color).

I have a guy that I trust to do the wash/wax.

When I received by 2013 from the factory it had a lot of swirl marks.

I am putting on my email to my FPO service tech, line #1 - NO SWIRL MARKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

It's amazing how easy it is to get it ruined by doing it wrong.

I was really leery about letting anyone touch my coach. The guy in Naples deals with a lot of high end stuff, far higher than mine. He did an amazing job! Mark whatever his name is (I think Mark Fields) at Pelican Lake.

I then had it done again in Jacksonville after being at an oceanfront location north of Daytona (Beverly Beach). I told him up front very clearly, no brushes, microfiber only, and he did. Not as good a job as Naples but I didn't do it so still a win.

I'm going to actually wax it myself with a Dewalt buffer in a week, which I've never done on my boat (have a guy do that too) or coach. I watched a few videos and will proceed carefully.

The Ventana's down fall is the gutters and the water marks dripping down the side of the coach. There are gutter extensions I have yet to install mainly because the pain of installing it and also it's a little less sightly, but we'll see. I'm not sure it's worth the effort, others have them installed and still have water marks. Mark at Naples put a clothes pin on the one that was doing the drain (based on the level at that location) and it kept the water off by acting as a gutter extension, obviously an eye sore but the point is keeping the water marks off.

One more to the story about swirl marks. I got suckered into the $1800 interior/exterior protection plan when buying my coach. I went to FPU and somehow brought it up. Newmar paint shop says NO, don't do it (had it cancelled by the dealer and refunded). Ironically a coach a few doors down from me in the facility was there getting his paint job fixed which was screwed up by this protection plan which put swirl marks on it, etc. Newmar uses buffers for the DSDP and up for cut and buff, I'm not sure how they don't get swirl marks. I'm no paint expert....
