I don't think there is an other breaker, but be sure to turn the breaker at the generator fully OFF and then ON to RESET the breaker.
Of course there is the ATS (autom. transfer switch)near the shore power cord compartment that may have a problem.

Hi Rick,
Try the transfer switch. Do you hear it click when the genny is turned on? You can check the genny output at the transfer switch.

No Click or any sound at Transfer Switch!!!
I think the issue is with the Transfer Switch!!
Is this a DIY thing or should I take it to a service centre???
I cannot really get at the "Switches" as there is a Large Power Bar in front of these!!
Rick

Hi Rick,
For me it is a DIY project. Before doing anything check the switch output leads with a meter. You're going to need to remove the bar to get the switch out. You might as well remove it now to make the check. The last check is to make sure all the wire connections are tight.
If you have an IOTA transfer switch, inside the switch, all the leads are labeled. If you need to replace the switch, consider labeling each wire before you remove it. It is not rocket science, just tasks to be done. The hardest part is working with the heavy/thick wires. They don't like to move or bend.

Check the reset button on the inverter, if it trips everything goes.

With the generator running use the palm of your hand and rap on the the ATS cover. Sometimes this is all it takes to engage the spring activated switch.
I had a problem with my ATS when my 2004 DSDP was a month old. That is what the tech at North Trail did. It will still have a few minute delay before you start getting power from the generator. The tech said the ATS sticking was fairly common. They replaced my switch, since it was still under warranty. He said if it wasn't under warranty, he would recommend not buying a new one unless I had more problems with it.

The Transfer Switch has a Time Delay Circuit. When this fails the Shore Power will pass through to the coach but the GenSet Power will not. If you have checked everything else look inside the TS Box. The TDC Board is in the upper right side. A DIP switch is on the PCB. With all power OFF to the coach move this DIP switch to the other position. Then try the GenSet again. Make sure no load is present because if it is your problem the TS will make and the GenSet will immediately pick up the load. If it works wait 30 seconds before you turn On your loads and replace just the PCB when you can. Hope this works for you. If you do a search on the TS Manufacturer you should find a .pdf explaing how your TS works.

Transfer switch is a common issue, epically if you have switched to/from Generator/shore power WITH THE AIR CONDITIONERS and/or Water heater on (ALways turn off, then switch)
As to is it a DIY job.. For me, if it is mounted where I can easily reach it, Yes, it would be a DIY job. However where they stuck mine..... Well, I'd rather not (Have, but would rather not)
For you.. don't know.. do not know your level of skill
On a 50 amp rig there are nine wires to transfer If you get the same make and model of switch you simply transfer them wire b wire,, Use of a paint pen or a sharpie marker to label them is a very good idea.
ON a 30 amp rig,, There may be more wires believe it or not, Don't know, never crached a 30 amp cover.

This is the .pdf from the manufacture of the transfer switch installed in my coach. Search "Time Delay" on the .pdf. As you will read, this should be a DIY job for most. The main clue is the Shore Power does work, and No codes on a running GenSet. I purchased a new PCB for $8, shipping was $16! Only 10 minutes to change, just 4 slide on wire ends.

If you open the cover and look at relays you may see contacts of relay fused together. Use a orange stick and pry loose contacts than run dollar bill through contacts and you may be good to go.
DO NOT USE anything metal in TS there are charged capacitors and you may short out the control circuit board.

The replacement is very easy. On my unit the PC Board is held in the little plastic box with double stick tape. I needed to pry it out. When I put the new one in I used Silicon on the four corners to hold it in its little plastic box. Make Sure All Power Is OFF And Disconnected To The Coach Before You Start. Glad to hear you are up and running again. A lot of guys change out the whole switch when all they need is a $8 part.
