I have a PowerTech 7500 diesel genset front mounted in my 1998 dutch star/Spartan MM. Anyone have this combo and have any feedback on noise and vibration? Everything looks good as far as the enclosure and sound deadening material. Muffler and tailpipe appear fine. Runs fine and produces plenty of power just a little loud and too much vibration transfers into the coach. Rubber mounts look to be in good condition also. Any feedback is appreciated.
Paul

98 coach are mounts soft or dried out hard maybe new rubber mounts would cut down vibration.

I have the same complaint with mine... same generator. I did find that the exhaust pipe mount had no flexible joint between the pipe and the frame. So any vibration was transmitted from the generator to the frame. I did purchase a standard exhaust pipe mount with a flexible strap connecting the metal clamp parts, but have not installed it yet. I suspect that it might help.
