Production info at Newmar-who can i call?
My new Ventana 3634 was supposed to go into production on 1-8-14. Who is the best contact at Newmar to find out where in production my new coach is? I may want to go and see it our at least get some pictures.

I'm not sure whom the "best" person may be, but Roxie Rice was very helpful when ours was in production. Try reaching out to her at rrice@newmarcorp.com. If your coach started assembly in Bldg 7 on that date, it may already be in the paint shop. Roxie should be able to help.

Agree, kind of late to see it now if the unit went to production on that date.

Just was at Newmar Monday dropping my coach off for service. When I toured the factory I saw several Ventanas on the line, probably saw yours though I didn't know it. I believe they said the coaches are spending about 4-5 days in bldg 7, then they go out for paint, then back to bldg 7 for awnings, inspection, etc.
They're working 5 days a week nowadays, can't remember the production rate but it is quite a bit higher then when I was last there in 2008 watching my coach being built.
One tidbit I found out is they are so busy with production that they have to subcontract out repainting the coaches that are getting sidewall replacements like mine! When I booked a couple of months ago the coach was going to be repainted at Newmar's paint shop.

What's the sidewall replace and repaint cost now? One side of our 2002 should be done but Newmar won't warranty it even though they knew ours was going bad in 2004. They did a buff out and said that would cure it, but, naturally it didn't.

I'd call them and talk to them about it. Mine, too, was repainted under warranty and they gave me a very good price relative to what I've read in the many posts on this subject in this forum. I was told it varied by model year, our cost was mid 4 figures because we had it done in winter.

3 weeks ago the Newmar customers service provided me 22 pictures of my Ventana 3634 under construction up to the painting process. I've just send an e-mail to the customer service and ...... Bingo!

Just missed
Thank you all for your help. I e-mailed Roxie and was told:
It appears that your unit was in building 7 (main production facility) from 1/9 to 1/14. It is now in the paint shop being painted, so I am unable to get any pictures at this time.
Oh well.
