On our Mt Aire gas, our pump switches were set up like a three/way electrical switch. Turn on one place/turn off in another place. Our DSDP does not have this feature. Is it possible to retrofit the DSDP with this feature??

If you find out PLEASE let me know too! My 2005 DSDP (4009) is the same way. I actually wore out a pump because I didn't know that you had to have all 3 turned off - I didn't even know where one of them was located! I finally got the young man who did my new owner walk-through to help me.

Yes, We just ordered the switches and the intelltec controller. Hope to have some pictures of the mod soon. Can't believe it was not standard-missed it during our ordering period(was standard on our previous coaches). Real pain in the a--! Another cost reduction/price increase!

Sorry, misplaced my notes on pricing. Should have invoice and parts tomorrow-seems like about $100.

Got invoice $105(one controller and three switches). Will advise when we get it installed-I would not order parts yet-we had some problem getting right parts.

Newmar installed the Monoplex water pump switches (3) and the controller as a special when I ordered my DSDP for $120.

Ok, here's the mod. Intellitec Monoplex Water Pump Controller and Switches(3) ordered from mastertech-inc.com at cost of $106 with shipping. Take care when order swiches the ones we received were marked for a slide instead of water pump. Inellitec who orginally gave me the part # later said "we don't make one for water pump"(they are totally disjointed-as they have a picture of them on their internet site!). We took the sticker off-no problem. We used the existing wiring for the +12v and the SW leads. Had to find a ground at each switch(not easy). Ground at galley and outside readily available. Make sure you follow the service manual drawing intellitec.com/PDF/5300145.000.pdf on the Inellitec site as they send you no literature.

Mounted the controller for easy access

Old switch in bathroom

New switch in bathroom

New switch in galley
