If you want this to happen you just need to make the decision on where you want to go, post that information here and wait for the others to arrive.

Hi litespeed,
While not a formal event, it is a bit more organized than Bill indicates. The Quartzsite Newmar gathering is just that a gathering in the desert. There is no leader or agenda. From the NKK web site, the details are:
"Once again meet with your friends in Quartzsite, Arizona from January 18-22 for the Gathering in the Desert!. This is a no host event; and it is on BLM land so there will be no services or planned activities by the Klub office .Location: We will be in the same area as in the past – South of I-10 below Quartzsite. Go 6.2 miles south on Hwy 95 (south of Milepost 99). Turn west on 53rd St North (formerly LaPaz Valley Rd) about 200 yards."

We will be in Yuma this year and would like to join the "gathering". Maybe someone has the GPS coordinates and can post them.

Hi Ron,
I don't have the gps coordinates, but Bill and Joyce are in Welton for the winter. They may be going and you might br able to caravan with them.
We may also be there as well.

Hi Al,
Spikester PM'd me with the coordinates, which I actually had found previously by following the instructions in this thread, in Google maps. The instructions were actually good enough to not need the coordinates.
I have Bill and Joyce's address so will look them up when we get down there.
Hope to see you down there, and if your around Yuma look us up. You have our email address and can PM you with other info if necessary.

Can't wait to get back to Quartzsite again this year. Will see if I can find this gathering of Newmar owners.

Plan on attending. Do I need to make " reservations" or do I just show up at the above location and park wherever there is room? Any other considerations I am not thinking of?

Hi litespeed,
Officially, this is an "unorganized and leaderless" gathering, just show up.
