If it "checks-out" .......Looks like a pretty good example of the argument for Used vrs New!

Still......45' ( +$600K) and I'm not sure how you could cook or prepare a meal in that kitchen. Once you lift the covers for the range & sinks ......not much counter space left. I'd also have a hard time with a TV mounted above the passenger seat. Beautiful rig nonetheless.

Is there "ever" an argument ?

All vehicles depreciate like a rock in the first few years then settle into a more reasonable depreciation curve ...

Give me a well maintained 2 year old unit any day ....

300k depreciation in 3 years - but thats based on MSRP.... What did that guy buy it for ? 30% off MSRP ?

So 640k - 192k = 448k

So they lost 100k in 3 years...

Lee Litchfield(RIP), when he was owner of Lee's RV in OK City, posted a couple of articles about trade-ins and depreciation on his blog:

You're welcome, but you might want to create a text or pdf file of them, because I'm not sure how long the family will kept his blog site active.

Note that dealers pay less than the wholesale trade in value in case they can't sell it and have to wholesale it to another dealer.
