Question on cable tv input

On our new Bay Star 3532, I am trying to get signal from the RV park cable to my TV. I have cable plugged in but don’t seem to be able to get it to work. OTA tv and satellite inputs on tv are working fine but can’t find how to switch to cable. Any help out there?

The Campground cable is connected to the input in the storage bay...

The OTA antenna booster is turned OFF. If left on, it is switched to the OTA antenna...and cable will not pass thru. On ours it is a very tiny button on the face of the Winegard panel. If the booster is ON, a little green LED is visible. When OFF the LED turns off too. This panel is on the sidewall close to the floor behind the copilots (Passenger) seat.

On the tv...you have the input set to TV.

In the TV setup menu for channels, you switch the input from antenna to cable.

Then on the next line, you scan for channels.

The tv tells you it could take up to 30minutes...when done scanning...you're all set.

Dumb question, where is the OTA amp on Newmar? On my old coach it was in the ceiling next to the antenna crank. Been looking but have not found it.

On my BS Sport it’s by the front passenger chair near the floor. It may of course be different for you.

On a bath wing antenna, the amplifier is located in the center section of the antenna. The wall-plate is only a switch with power to the antenna or not,for cable,no 12Volt power is needed
