We are supposed to drive our 2000 Kountry Star to my hubby's mother's 100 year birthday party on Sunday (about 350 miles). He leveled it today using the hydraulic jacks and when he put them back up with the coach engine running there was an alarm sounding. One of the jacks bottom plate was cockeyed and he tried to level it but took the plate off and the 2 springs. The alarm is still sounding and the RV repair said it is because of this happening. They do not work on Saturday and I doubt we can get it in this afternoon. They said we could disable the alarm. Can anyone tell me where this is located??? We don't want to drive 350 miles with that awful alarm on.

Not sure where it would be on a Kountry Star, but on ours I think the fuse for that alarm is in the panel in front of the left front tire, under the driver's seat.

I did a search on the forum and this answer did the trick for disabling the alarm:

PHP Code:
If you have this sys HWH Jack on the top of the jack in troublethere is a plug connector that may disable the jacks down warningJust remember you unpluged it when lowering jacks

Hi cirquegirl,
The fuse is in the compartment located in front of the left front tire. Try fuse 15. There should be a sticker (on the side of the compartment) identifying all the fuses.
