John....While you're working on the dash ducts and have things open......I added foam insulation (A/C tubing) to the Oasis coolant lines. I wanted to keep the dash and electronics free from unneeded heating and heat loss when the Oasis unit is running.

I spoke to Oasis and they said it was not an issue to insulate the Oasis lines.

I know this will sound like a dumb question to most of the respondents in this thread, but how do you remove the radiator grill. I was looking at it and I see 2 screws on each side through what appear to be spacers near the bottom, but don't see any other attachments.

Bill

Those two screws are it. Make sure to catch the spacers when you pull the screws.

The grille will pivot once the screws are out.

Good idea Don.

It quit raining......something you don't hear very often in California.....so I finished the install.

Here is the right and left sides of the door. Since I'm down low and zoomed in, they stand out, but they're behind the grille and hard to see otherwise. I couldn't take a distant shot because I'm parked in my yard against my wall.

The extra hole in this photo below is from the factory self tapping screw. Next week it gets another waxing and everything should look nice.

Nice work PDR John and Dutch Star Don,

If Freightliner and Newmar really wanted to do something else helpful for those of us with the side radiators they would hinge the radiator and grill at the front as on a MCI. That way owners could easily clean the front and rear of their radiators and a/c coils.

Found another benefit of John's upgrade......The grille has always been a pain to wash, trying to bend over and clean each grille bar. Today, I washed the coach for the first time since making the grille open. It was soooo nice to open it up and clean it at chest height. I was able to clean the back side, the sidewalls, grille ends and spray off the radiator and CAC.
