Does anyone here have any experience installing a Radiator Rock Guard on their DSDP w/side radiator? I have seen some with expanded metal guards. Where do we get them and how hard are they to install? Our rig is 1998 DSDP w/Spartan chassis & Cummins 8.3. Do not want any hole in radiator problems.

Thanks

Here is a list that may help, check truck link, or give Spartan a call and see what they recommend.

Some of the older DSDP's would have stones kicked yp by the rear tires and hitting the radiator or creaking fan blades.

The Alaskan highway and other gravel roads caused the most problems.

Are there any available Photos of the guard?
Does it matter whether the Chassis is a Spartan or Freightliner?

I recall that it was a Spartan issue.
