We're near Gatlinburg, Sevieville, Pigeon Forge and Knoxville. The map rebelsbeach posted shows our location pretty well.
We thought about attending the upcoming iRV2 rally that's planned to be held in this area.
There's a lot of things to do here. There's Dollywood, theaters and shows, and a host of places to chow-down.
Come on down and sit a spell!!! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Hmmmmmmm I have been looking at Middle Tenn up north of Nashville. (Clarksville to be exact) but I may have to re-plan things.... Do you by any chance know of a web site that shows housing for your area? I had been going to Realtracs.com and it shows Middle Tenn only....
We plan on spending our vacation out there in 2007 to check things out.......
Wow this is another benefit of these forums being able to type to someone who is not only a fellow RV'er but lives in the part of the country we are looking at......... </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
You may have already checked out
this site. You can locate properties just about anywhere in America that are on the MLS system.
Sevier County, where I live, is growing by leaps and bounds. Our county has the western entrance to the GSMNP - the most visited nat'l park in America. There are literally millions of people who visit here each year. Sometimes I think they all drive a separate car!!!! There are more rural counties in TN where real estate is a lot less expensive. TN has no income tax, low vehicle registration (my MH tags were $24 this year), but does have a high sales tax above 9% on it's on food too!!!!
I'll have to find the local real estate site and post it or send PM to you. I've got it in my favorites of websites.
Try this site too to find some places around the east TN area. Good Luck.
