Rear passenger side leveler will not fully retract

This has happened a couple of times before and we would tap the leveler and it would retract. Cleaned and sprayed with silicone spray today, but no change.
Any suggestions on how to make this jack retract. It is down abou2-3 inches

Don't use silicone, use WD-40 only. Fully extend the jack, spray and wipe thoroughly, then retract. That jack is also my slowest to retract, so you may have to be patient.

As Algoma said use WD40 per HWH.

I also put on new springs, didn't seem to help. Spraying with wd40 helps. It didn't take me long to figure out why the previous owner carried an 8ft 2by 4.

I was advised by the tech at Freedom RV in Tucson to grease them. Never spotted a grease fitting on them before. He pointed them out. One shot of grease couple times a year and they always work. Still carry the 7ft piece of pipe just in case.
