We are getting ready to have our hid-a-bed re-upholster in our Scottsdale and in order to do this I need to remove the recliner chair so the upholster people will have room enough to do the work inside. I am looking for someone that has had experience removing this chair. (BTW, this is the chair aft of the fwd passenger seet and in front of the entry door).

Looking under the chair there is 4 bolts holding the chair to the floor, two with the bolt heads and two with nuts on the bracket. I am concerned because I do not know if there is something under the floor holding the bolts or nuts under the floor.

I have gained lots of info from lurking around on this site but did not see any info about removing the chair.

MoHO Skier welcome to irv2 and the Newmar forum.
Go to "FIND" just above you and type in "chair bolts" leave the check mark. Someone asked the same question awhile back and the answer is there. Some chairs maybe mounted differently so could be a different answer but it is there for you just don't know which will be yours. You have seen bolts in ceiling of compartment below chair the other two maybe thru floor outside of compartment.
A Newmar owner as yourself can be a member in Newmar forum which is called KARMA if you want it I will input for you.
Enjoy the forums and post often.

Kurt, on my coach there were four bolts coming thru the floor, after removing the four nuts in the compartment bay ahead of the entry door I lifted the chair completly out, you will need another person to help you for a short while. Ed.S
