Speaking of Newmar dealers, it was reported and confirmed on another Newmar forum that Lee recently sold Lee's RV Supercenter to Camping World.

I guess it is time for the attorneys to get the contracts and magnifying glasses out. From history you know what must freeze over before Camping World will sell new Newmar coaches. This will be interesting.

CW bought out Lee's thats sad, was talking to RVer today who bought MH from CW and coach had fire and needed new tires to pass MV inspection and CW said you bought it, its yours, no help.

Steve, here is a PDI LIST for MH's that you can use if buying from dealer or if you paid extra for PDI at Newmar.

I was going to take our Essex to Lee's for consignment about 1 month ago. Luckily I was able to complete a private sale several days before I was planning to drive to Oklahoma City. I wonder how the consignment sale would have progressed with the changes?

Tom Johnson Camping Center in Marion NC is recomended as a very good dealer in sales/service by their customers. Wish I had gone there prior to purchasing our last motorhome. If I ever trade up, they are high on my list of dealers to checkout.

PDI is Pre Delivery Inspection (orientation, walk through, becoming familiar with, learning that you have just bought a vehicle that you will never completely understand, etc.)

This is what I thought a pdi is. I have never paid anything for one. Bought my Monaco from DeMartini in California and there was never a discussion about a fee for the pdi.
I won't buy an rv from a dealer that wanted to,charge one.

I just bought my used RV from Guaranty RV in Junction City Oregon.
I understand that they were just awarded "Top Newmar Dealer" in the US.
