My lovely bride would like for the potty to be enclosed on our floorplan. It is the only thing about the coach that she doesn't love.

This would require moving the pocket door to the bedroom about 8 inches to the right as you face the bedroom. That's how Newmar shows it on the same floor plan with enclosed potty option.

Have any of you ever seen an internal wall replaced. It appears to me that the wall surface is bonded to the structure behind it. Also the corners seemed to be bonded on also. So the specific question is "Is it possible to disassemble the internal wall without destroying the wallboard?" Have any of you done modifications like this to your coach?

My skill level is reasonably high when it comes to this sort of thing, and I have no fear.

Your thoughts?

I don't know about the walls but there will be issues at the ceiling where the track is installed.

Can you post a picture or do you have floor plan similar to a 2007 MADP?
Anything can be done just go slow when pulling apart. Could also use a normal door instead of pocket door.

I understand about all the remodeling issues including the track for the pocket door.

Let me ask the question a different way. What holds the interior wall to the studs behind it? Is there a preferred way of removing the wall without destroying it?

If you push on wall suface you should see depressions in wall surface that will be covered by white puddy. Every thing is put together with staples. If you pry moldings off the staples will pull out with molding. You now have edge of wall exposed to pry from studs 2x2 or 2x1". When I replaced I used paneling nails. You can fillin staple holes with white crayon wax.
As I said before go slow less damage that way.
If cheery paneling use filler pencil.
