Removal of passenger seat table
The passenger seat table has just been a nuisance for both of us since we got our 2015 Ventana 4037 a little over two months ago.
DW can't read while traveling (car sickness) and when I have the passenger seat adjusted high enough that my feet don't hit the dash with the foot rest up, the table hits my lap.
When parked and the seat is rotated to the rear, the table is just always in the way getting past it and adjusting the arm rest, etc.
It HAD to go.
I looked underneath today and it's just two allen set screws that remove it! Less than a minute. Had I known, I would have taken it off weeks ago.
Even if you like while driving, it's easy enough to remove while camped.

Mine lasted until the first weekend. Somebody must like that desk, but I do not know why.

Agree...thought I'd wait to see how much the DW uses it with her iPad. If it's my decision its toast.

When we first heard about it, we thought "hey that's great". Then we played with one, never mind.
Might be better if you could adjust the height.

That's why I posted, to let others who might not have realized yet how easy it is to take off. Two screws and it's out.
The idea is good, the execution is half baked. Since you can't adjust the height, it won't work unless you have the seat all the way down. When not in use, it's always in the the way, especially when the seat is turned around and used as a living room recliner.

Been there, done that!
You can also take off the additional support bracket to clean up the seat mounting. I also moved the seat mounting back 6 inches as it annoyed me that the seat was blocking the entry steps. I am also planning on moving the seat belt anchorage back a few inches when I have worked out how much steel plate I need to add to the chassis to support this.

Took ours out also. DW did not like it and when you turned seat around it was in way. Wacked my ankle on the bar that was sticking out, so I took saw to remaining bar and cut it off. Little spray paint and was good as new.

If anyone wants one I have ours that we removed within a week of ownership for all the reasons above. I will bring it to Lewisburg International. If anyone wants it just let me know.

Ours came off and went in the attic before we even took our first trip. It was an ankle biter.
