I have a 2005 DSDP 3815>> Trying to figure out how to take the bedroom TV out to replace with a LCD TV. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Keith

I'm not sure this applies to your coach, but my bedroom TV is held in place by two brackets with screws on the bottom corners of the TV. Also, try the search feature for the Newmar Owner's forum.

There are wood plugs in the bezel that need to be removed to get to the screws under them. You might be able to pry them out with a very small screwdriver or you can drill a very small hole in them, screw in a very small screw and then use pliers to pull the wood plugs out. Removing the TV is easy after that.

I took the rear TV out of my 2005 DS and ordered cabinet doors from Focal Wood in Nappanee to match my wood. I set a 32" LCD TV on the chest across from the foot of the bed and when we travel we lay it on the bed.

I just replaced my front TV, in my 2004 DSDP, with a 32" set. Now I'm ready to do the bedroom. The wood dowels that you have to remove, from the bezel, can easily be replaced from places like Ace Hardware, if you intend on using a 22" set and reusing the bezel.

I intend on putting a 26" TV in the bedroom which means it wont completely fit inside of the cabinet, so I have been searching for a 26" that will partially sit in. With the bezel removed it should only stick out about 2". That will allow the door on the cabinet to the left, with the main breakers, to swing up.
