Replace Sony TV With......

The Sony tv in our 18 DSDP is beginning to fail...again. It was replaced under warranty five months ago, but is now requiring a power down reboot about half of the times we turn it on. What brand/model/size do yall replace the oem tv with?

Id be thinking something along the lines of a corrupted update. Suggest a FACTORY RESET as deep as you can go.

Really no reason to lockup/fail otherwise.

Sony made good CRT televisions back in the day. I wouldn't own a current generation now.

I put in a 49 inch Samsung smart tv about a year ago. Has worked perfectly.

Thanks all! The 55 Samsung in the SnB has worked perfectly for years. I wish it would quit so I could get a larger one!
I wasnt sure the 49 would fit. Thanks for the verification.

Thats interesting. We have had Sony TVs for probably 10 years and they have worked perfectly. Our new Sony smart TV has by far a better picture than any TV we compared it to.

Back in the day Sony made just ok CRTs and great XBR CRTs. Today Sony makes just ok TVs and some really Good TVs.
I have an LG OLED Model C9 in the house and Sony Model 900f in the camper.
When picking a TV it helps to know what content you mainly watch and in what lighting conditions.

Take a look at this site: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/be...k-ultra-hd-uhd
