Replacement of Decorative Ceiling Lights

Has anyone replaced the strips of decorative ceiling lights in their Dutchstar or Mountain Aire? I have some lights out in each of my strips and the price that I have been quoted for replacement is $500 per strand. If that is the best price I can find, I may just do without, but DW sure does like the low-level lighting at night when watching TV.

I had the same problem with our 2008 Dutch Star; take a wooden spoon and whack where the lights are out and see what happens. That is how ours were fixed at the factory; no kidding!!
