Hi all,
I recently had the air admittance/check valve fail on my black tank flush system. The seals inside failed and leaked water whenever the flush was used.
After pricing a replacement, I was shocked at how much that lousy plastic part cost ($46 on Amazon), so I decided to use brass parts which are both cheaper and more durable.

I also purchased some adapters from the local hardware and opted to replace the existing PEX screw fittings with brass.
The new setup works great.
