Has anyone replaced the shower in the a 2016 Ventana LE 4044? The 2017 model removed the useless cabinet (at least to us it is ) and small corner shower changed the shower to a larger, looks like 42 by 36 inch shower with large glass door. It appears this could be easily retro fitted to me. I am looking for recommendations on where to get this done and of course. It seems to be a much cheaper option that trading coaches - lols. We hate the old shower design and the worst designed shower handle control imaginable. When you pull the handle out to operate it, the space reduces to 23 inches considering the interior door handles - this means it is hard to turn in the shower and a slight hit on the shower control can either cause severe burn or you get dumped with ice water. I have asked Newmar and local dealer several times to try to fix it. The local dealer seems to be trying- but so far no luck! It would be so helpful if someone from Newmar would actually try to use this things before they install something so poorly designed. I would imagine the cost to make this shower functional would have been at least $10, yes TEN whole dollars to come up with something that works easily and provides space.

Anyway, trading up will cost tens of thousands of dollars - I'm thinking this could probably be fixed for a couple of thousand - not cheap, but it will make the difference to us whether to keep, trade up or give up - lols!

Appreciate any places to repair who can make the coach look original and reasonable pricing recommendations.

To be honest, my first call would be Newmar. They did some after delivery work for me that involved cutting holes in the side of the coach, etc, and it was immaculate when they were done. They are really good at custom work after the fact.
