Rettroband....

Has anyone had the Rettroband
Tire Safety System installed on their coach?
NIRVC is marketing it and the
u tube video is impressive.
Our DS order is finally in and picking up next week. I m having
them install prior to pick up.

Thanks, interesting feedback on the system. I too was impressed and yes it is a big investment, but you
can’t put a price on your family’s safety. I figured piece of mind.

They installed mine yesterday! This is the first system I have seen that makes sense with the band being taller than the wheel and tough enough to drive a long distance with. Expensive, not really considering total cost of a motorhome and the value of human life. All JMHO

Cost

$4,500 for two front tires. Told by owner of company that manufactures it (in Australia) and owner of NIRV at the Perry convention. Very impressive invention. NIRV owner Brett and owner of company (forgot his name) brain stormed for 3 years to came up with Rettroband. Company owner bought a rig from NIRV 3 years ago and Brett tried to sell him the Tyron band and owner said no and explained why (over my head but the reason essentially was that the owner didn’t feel it would properly protect him in a blow out).

Rettroband....

If you have 295 and down the price is $3495 plus tax installed. For all larger sizes the price is $4495 plus tax installed.

Buy a Prevost if safety is that much a priority. Seriously. Stick built fiberglass is not a platform for safety.
