RF Remote Control System?
Has anyone installed a RF remote control system between the main TV and the bedroom TV? When we take trips I always take the bedroom Directv receiver with me. The main TV receiver in the S&B is to hard to remove so we just one receiver. On my Tiffin coach there is already a RF remote control system installed. We have no issues watching the same channels on all TV's.
Has anyone installed an aftermarket system where one receiver will work on all of the TV's? I would have to get a HDMI cable run from the main entertainment center to the bedroom for the signal. I just would like the capabilities to change channels while in the bedroom instead of getting up to do this.

We have one of these http://www.amazon.com/X10-Powermid-P...=powermid+x-10 It is not HD though, just changes the channels. The original BOMB (box of many buttons) connects the coax satellite out to the bedroom TV but we could not change the the channels with the remote.
I do see HDMI wireless boxes on Amazon. Mixed reviews but a good solution rather than running an HDMI cable. Here is one Amazon.com: IOGEAR GW3DHDKIT Wireless 3D Digital Kit with Full HD 1080P and 5.1 Channel Digital Audio: Electronics
If we ever decide to get HD satellite in the MH I would consider one. I would guess the receiver could be moved to the outside TV to get HD out there too.

I picked up a MywirelessTV setup a year or so ago to use for a TV out by the pool. It is HD and allows you to switch channels from the remote location. Here's an example http://www.amazon.com/Actiontec-Wire...s=mywirelesstv
I can see it working in the coach for you want to do.... plus you don't need to pull a HDMI cable to the back

Both of those items will help with getting the satellite signal to the bedroom TV. But I would still have to get out of bed and go into the living room to change the channels.

I may be misunderstanding what you're asking, but your DirecTV remote has two settings, IR and RF. If you set it to RF, you should be able to change channels.

I have a RF Directv remote and my receiver is set up for RF. Won't I need to have RF sensors connected to the Directv receiver which would be in the main entertainment center plus a sensor in the bedroom for me to point at.
Isn't this correct?

Not with RF. RF remote goes through walls and does not need a remote sensor in bedroom as long as the RF remote has enough range to reach the front DirecTV receiver. Works fine for me that way in my coach.

You are in business. This will work well in the coach. You may want Newmar to install an HDMI cable to the bedroom as a custom option. it will be more reliable and easier to store than the wireless solutions.

Yea I thought about the HDMI cable after getting the quote for the tripod connections.

With the mywirelesstv device you just point the directv remote at the device and it relays the signal back to the Directv receiver. I have an H24 also and it works fine. If you look at the writeup , they tell how it works. It works great for me and it goes thru 2 concrete walls from the pool area to the living room Directv receiver.
