I have a Girard awning over my RF slide, but after it rains a while water will run down the slide edge outside from the top of the slide...so far its dry inside but we get a big puddle coming off that slide onto the patio area...Since the awning is above the slide...no slide topper...I think the water is pouring over the drip channel onto the slide....anyone else have this problem or know a fix???

footdoc,
Same thing happens to us too. On occasion I've put the Girard out a couple of feet and that seems to help a little, but not much.

Between the roof and the awning should be a bead of sealant. Sometimes it comes loose, dries, etc.

update to my original problem...last night we had a torrential T-storm around 345 AM I woke up to constant thunder, lightning and some strong wind...I actually felt the coach rock a little...and found out that the slide toppers dont do so well in that weather...when I brought in the LF slide after carefully waiting for the water on the topper to run off while closing, found quite a bit of water running off that slide top onto the floor when I brought it in...I guess that kind of problem comes with the scarey weather I was in

Larry take a look at your top seal for slide as it lays on roof of slide, seams to me the top seal should act as your side seals, that wipe the sidewalls of slide as it comes in to remove as much water as possible all around slide surfaces.
