Roof - Denatured Alcohol

I have a 2003 Newmar (in my sig. below) and I intend to use denatured alcohol to clean spots where I'm re-chalking with Dicor 501 LSW (self leveling) will this product , denatured alcohol , injure/hurt the roof material ? I have searched and read MANY comments on this . I can't seem to find a "definitive answer" on this .
Please help

If it's a fiberglass roof, then alcohol should work fine. However, I prefer Acetone.

denatured alcohol

TheRVGeeks.com have a video on the subject. From what I remember, just don't use too much of whatever you use to clean the roof.

I typically use mineral spirits for the initial cleaning and follow up with denatured alcohol. The mineral spirits is a better solvent to remove caulk residue and denatured alcohol removes the oily residue from the mineral spirits. Denatured alcohol alone is not a very good solvent. However, it does flash off quickly and makes sure the bonding surfaces are dry.

I use and believe mineral spirits are suggested to use sparingly on the area to be treated. Not sure about denatured alcohol. If used carefully on area to be treated probably ok. Be sure area is dry after cleaning prior to applying Dicor.

Cheers
