Roof Side Wall Separation

I have a 2016 Ventana LE 2016 and recently noticed during my spring prep that the molding strip above the drivers window was sticking out from the side wall. It appears that the rivets that were used to attach the roof to the side wall have popped. In total about 4 of them. The 2 screws that hold the molding strip are holding it in place but I'm concerned that the flex while driving caused this issue. Newmar can't see me until June. Wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this. Here is a picture.

I am trying to identify what is in the picture. The upper right side looks like studs. The lower left looks like flooring.

I think the area circled in red is what you are talking about? defiantly let Newmar address this issue, and if afraid of leaks, call and ask them what you should do for now to seal the area up.

Unfortunately, Newmar factory service center is apparently a busy place. The Tiffin service center was the same way when we owned our Phaeton. As an owner we don't want to be without our coaches and we don't want to be inconvenienced, after all we have places to go and people to see. Other owners have appointments for their issues and these limited appointments are booked up to June. I hope I never have an issue, but after owning two Tiffins in 7 years, I know this is just wishful thinking.

I agree the tape comes wider also and you can double up if necessary, this is a 5 year warranty issue for Newmar repair.

I don't know where you are but find a good dealer and have them check it out for you.Sounds like it could get worse.

Thanks everyone for the reply's. I like the tape idea. That may be easier than temporarily filling it in with Silicone until I can get it fixed at Newmar. I did get in touch with a dealer in Indy where we bought it. They said they would look at it and do something temporary and give us an idea of what could be causing it.

Here is more pic's for those that couldn't see it.

The first pic is looking straight at it. You can't see there's a problem. The molding is located just above the drivers window. The other pic is another one looking up from the floor at it.

Still would like to now if anyone has every seen this before?

Oh...now I see what we were looking at. Great move on this part of your dealer for an interim fix.! A good dealer Lakes all of the difference. Best of luck in getting this resolved.
