Newmar does not recommend anything but talc or baby powder on the gaskets on the slideout

I have owned two Dutch Stars and the rubber slideout seals have never dried out. Seems to be very good rubber.

I have seen seal conditioner at RV accessories stores. Don't know if it does any good though.

The PO of my KSDP must have followed the tip of using talcum power, cause it is everywhere I look that a cleanig job couldn't reach. I mean from the windshield to the closet in the bedroom and everywhere in between.

I would not recommend.
My 1.5 cents worth
