My 2007 KSDP has running lights. Today a nice truck driver who had passed me called on the CB to say that my running light on the Passenger side was out. At lunch to diagnose, I started the engine but none of the lights lit up. I had the DW watch while I put the transmission in "D" and held the brake. Still no lights. What actions cause the running lights to be activated

Your running lights should go on when you put on your parking light switch on dash board. You may have a relay in your fuse panel for chassis 12v electric's.
If your talking about your daytime dimmed headlights they work of a relay in same fuse area.
"ROUTE 66" is correct,I had my own problem with the passenger side DRL.
Had a bad inline connector about 2 feet before the light,one pin was pushed back.
All you need is start your engine,go in D and release the parking brake.

Well the problem seems to have cured itself. I am camped beside Route 66 in Tucumcari NM and the lights are working again. Thats good because the lights and wiring are hidden behind the pump for the HWH jacks.

Must be referring to the highway as I live in a townhouse in Delaware and there's no RV outside.
