Ruptured Hydro Hot line

I have a ruptured coolant line which goes to my Hydro Hot’s motoraide function. A barbed repair kit was installed.
I am concerned the line may fail again downstream.
I would like to run a coolant hose from the engine right back to the engine, thus eliminating the Hydro Hot's motoraide function. I understand some coach manufactures use this coolant line for the dash heat also. Is this the case with Newmar? Any suggestions as to which contact at the factory may be able to answer my question.

I think the line you are talking about uses the engine coolant for a heat source when the engine is running. Newmar generally does not use the hydro hot as the engine preheat. I am not sure what will happen if you turn the engine hose back to the engine. I am not sure if the aqua hot is on the same hoses as the heater core at the front of the coach. It would make sense if it was. The best way to find out is to trace the hoses.

If yours is plumbed like mine the dash heat is not the same. The hose to the aqua/hydro hot heats water for the sinks and allows me to use the furnace when running down the road. On mine where the hose enters the block there is a faucet like valve that can turn the water flow off.

Is the coolant hose on the driver's side to/from the engine block part of the dash heater system? Is it integral to the HydroHot system?

I just had an incident similar/related.. I will start a new thread..
