RV One sold to RV RETAILERS
The group that formed RV Retailers has bought two large RV dealerships. MHS in Texas and RV One with locations in Albany, Buffalo, Des Moines, Orlando and Tampa. Not sure what to expect from owners who know nothing about the RV business. Will they be able to replicate the automobile marketing in the RV world? I am not optimistic but it will be interesting to watch. All JMHO

I'm reminded of the way the new owner of Sears was going to revamp the retail business. I wonder if he ever thinks about what the catalog could have become on line.

A minor clarification as the topic title is incorrect
The acquiring company is headed by FORMER Auto Nation execs
Florida-Based RV Retailer is Acquiring RV One | RV Business
RV One and MHSRV were not sold to Auto Nation, but to RV Retailer LLC.

Thanks for the correction, spuds.
Maybe to many complaints that RV One could not handle and maybe problems will be resolved by new owners, I say that as a big MAYBE seeing has same old dealer ownership involved.

We are driving our 2019 New Aire. At NIRVC right now getting a slide fixed(factory assembled wrong and lost a couple of teeth in the track). Can’t change my signature from the phone and have not had enough WiFi to get my laptop out. Love the New Aire, rides and drives like a big coach. Going to Freightliner Thursday to get a software update for the adaptive cruise and replace a leaking air valve. Replaced power steering pump before delivery and a few very minor punch list items. Great little coach and we are adapting well after 5 forty five footers. The engine is adequate but could use a little more and one more foot of room inside would allow several needed changes but over all great job by Newmar to build a small luxury coach. And, they pretty much have the market to themselves. All JMHO

RVDailyReport had made the same typo when they announced the MHSRV sale
It's an interesting time in the industry. CW/Lemonis buying up some, LD buying others, this new holding/investment company on an acquisition plan, NIRVC expanding on their own.
I would much rather see RV-familiar ownership of RV dealerships/service locations. Have seen as a coach owner what happens when a family sells the brand to a non-RV investment group...

big money has entered the RV sales industry.....because big money is buying RV's.....it is no longer the low margin industry it once was....it will be run more as a business now...with stronger financial controls and hurdles.....i hope that means stronger customer service controls as well....but as for pricing, it's prolly not good for us.....few big dealers that will be more similar in their pricing approaches...they will try to differentiate with service models....but it will become more and more like an oligopoly....
